Spain Still Number One in FIFA Rankings

FIFA has released it’s latest world soccer rankings with the United States at number 18 and Spain still as kings. The top four in the rankings all stayed the same, as Spain, Brazil, Netherlands and Italy continued to perform well in their friendlies leading up to World Cup 2010. Germany moved up a spot to fifth, switching spots with Portugal who now sits sixth. Similarly, England replaced Argentina at number eight, while the South Americans dropped to ninth. The biggest mover in the rankings was Serbia who moved up 6 spots to number 13 in the world.

    Well, if USA can keep the same intensity from the last 15 – 20 minutes of last Wednesday’s game then they will give England a run for their money.
