Club America keeper Guillermo Ochoa could be heading to the Premier League in the near future.  Accepting an invitation from manager Mark Hughes, Ochoa traveled to London to practice with Fulham. 25 year old Ochoa is considered a promising young star, with 40 caps at Club America, but was surprisingly excluded from the World Cup finals this year.

Club America said in a statement, “Our club has been in touch all the time with Ochoa, who is enjoying his holidays, and that’s why he has accepted the invitation he has received from Fulham. America will be aware of the results of this invitation and, in case there is a negotiation between both clubs, we will let the press know once they have finished.”

With Hughes in the search for a long-term replacement for Mark Schwarzer, Ochoa could soon be moving to London. While bigger clubs have balked at a reported £9 million price tag, Fulham are said to be closing in on a deal for the Mexican starlet. While deals take time, Fulham must act quickly as Club America expects their keeper back on Monday.
